Whether you have LOST weight, or GAINED weight, most of you may have a closet or a dresser that is full of things you just don't wear any more!

Why not do some “Spring Cleaning”, or “Fall Cleaning” and fill as many bags or boxes that you can and donate them to Rescue Atlanta!

Maybe do a Neighborhood Clothes Drive, or a Church Clothes Drive …

And you can be sure that the clothing will not be SOLD, but will be given to people in need! And as a registered 501(c) 3 Non Profit Organization we can even give you a Tax-Deductible receipt for your donation!

While we are in need of all sorts of GOOD USED / NEW clothing, our greatest need is MENS CLOTHING! If you could arrange to drop the clothing off at Rescue Atlanta that would be GREAT being that we have a small Volunteer Staff!

CLOTHIING ONLY? No way! The needs of the poor are huge! Everything from automobiles, to furniture, to mattresses, to appliances! Before you throw them away or donate them to someone that may sell them at a discounted price, CALL US! Nothing stays around here long!

Pray about what you can do, and be sure to listen! There's no telling what God can do through you! Everyone can do something!

The following is a list of our needs:

• Toiletries (preferably travel size) Lotions, Shampoo, Toothbrushes, tooth paste, Hand Soap Deodorant and Disposable Razors. Collect them when you travel. WE GO THROUGH 100’s of these items EVERY WEEK!

• We desperately need towels, and washcloths. Again 100’s of people shower here at Rescue Atlanta!

• Cleaning Supplies (Comet, Ajax, Bleach, PineSol, etc.)

• New Toys! We use them for Quiet seat prizes during "Power Jam" Kids Ministry!

• Bags of Candy for Children

• Large Containers of Laundry Soap for the Homeless to wash their clothing

• Paper Towels, Napkins, and Toilet Paper

• Plastic Forks, Spoons, knives (SAMS 500 Count)

• Disposable Plates and Bowls. We go through 100's each week.

• Blankets (wool please) These work best for warmth and will dry quicker if they get wet.

• New and Used Coats HUGE NEED in the Winter Months

• New Socks, Hats, Gloves and Underwear

• Canned Fruits and Vegetable in #10 cans if possible

• Meat for our meals we serve: Chicken, Ground Beef, Turkey, etc.

• Canned Foods to put in our Food Boxes

• 5 lb. Bags of Grits

• Large Boxes of Oatmeal (The ones from Sams)

• $5,000 - $10,000 a month increase in our monthly support base. We desperately need to bring on additional FULL TIME Staff as our ministries have DOUBLED this past year!

• New fence complete with "Barbed Wire" (Remember, we are in 'da hood!) around the entire property.

• BLACK TOP resurfacing of our Parking Lot and we need the Parking Lot striped!

• Professional Grant Writers (federal)

• New 15 passenger van
